Sunday we took Owen and Callie to the neighborhood halloween parade. Owen was asleep in the bjorn before we joined the parade and slept till we got home (and then some) -- but Callie had a terrific time. She loves kids, with the exception of the kid in a scary wolf costume who both intrigued and terrified her.
Owen got to wear his leopard costume (thanks Aunt Jill!) again today, and again went right to sleep. Apparently it's very cozy.
He's been napping most of the evening so he missed mama carving her pumpkin, and the handful of trick-or-treaters we've had. I think Halloween will be a little more exciting for him next year, but at least we have some cute pictures for the baby album.
Thought I'd post pictures of the furbabies while they're enjoying the final days of being our only children.
The cats seem unimpressed with the baby stuff so far, but they spend
most of their day sunning in the sun room anyway so maybe they won't
notice :).
Callie has been very interested in the babies we've seen at St. Elmo's (coffee shop) lately, so we're hoping she'll learn to like her new sibling.
She's very protective of her cats - always tries to defend Rox when Jack's bullying her - so I'm sure she'll be a good big sister.
