"new" look at Starbucks

Comments

I've been drinking the Caffe Misto for a few years - Jeff introduced it to me as the cheaper alternative to a latte!
Ooh, thanks for the idea. I have always *hated* Starbucks' bitter coffee (albeit espresso drinks) and try at all costs to steer people to Peets or even Einsteins Bagels on fear of their blecchhh factor.
That's another benefit! I do miss the foam, since I usually get a cappuccino when drinking plain coffee, but I wonder if I could get them to add some.
There's a Peet's in DC??
It's true that it's not as richly satisfying as a latte, but sometimes you don't have the dough!
I thought it was interesting that they switched back to the old logo too. The green one was so iconic. I'm kind of shocked but I guess that their market research showed that they needed a change.
I like the new logo. I am more of a Peets coffee drinker.
I''ve been wanting to try the Pike's Place blend. I love the idea of Coffee Misto. I'm trying to watch my fat and sugar so I could probably do it non fat. Yum!
Sorry took so long! Nope, just Peet's beans in the grocery store. Only Peet's I have frequented were in Boston and California. Which begs the question, if they are *on the East Coast* why not the nation's capitol. Hope you had a great date night!
I got it with skim, which is probably why it was a little thinner than a regular latte, but still not bad!
Oh good. I used to rant about the lack of non-Starbucks options in the District, and thought I would have noticed a Peets! It is lame they're in Boston though and not here.

And yes, date night was fun, thanks!
I actually emailed cust svc and they are only focusing on West Coast expansion at this time -- but we can get their beans (bah!) at the grocery store. Dude, if I wanted *beans* I would get fair trade organic sustainable for the songbirds smuggled in the backpack of a person already travelling to North America so it'd have no carbon footprint beans. Sheesh.
Exactly. Plus I'm far too lazy to brew my own. :)
