I've resisted buying a whole foods bag, preferring to flaunt my bags from our real organic market, but I couldn't pass up this cute new one with the colorful apple print. It's also made from recycled plastic bottles. It'd be cooler if it was made from recycled plastic bags ... speaking of which, China just announced a ban on plastic bags. It looks like more of a fine system (a la Ikea) than a total ban, but still.

I live in Nashville and we have Wild Oats stores, but I think I've heard that Whole Foods will be replacing them. So I assume this is a great organic food store? Wild Oats was always good but I have friends in other states that have really raved about Whole Foods so I'm looking forward to checking it out.

Whole Foods, I think, owns Wild Oats now. Out here in CA, they also own Henry's Farmers Markets too.

Yes, Whole Foods bought Wild Oats. I've never been to a Wild Oats so I don't know how difference they are. I'm upset with Whole Foods because so little of their produce is actually organic, but they are slowly getting better about stocking local products which is cool. I still manage to spend plenty of money there!

i use my mom's bag here at trader joe's. it's way bigger than my trader joe's bag and is something of a conversation starter!
